Family law support tailored to your situation

Every family situation is different. Whether you are navigating separation, parenting matters, disputes, or Family Court proceedings, my approach is grounded in clear advice, thoughtful guidance, and steady support throughout the process.

  • Parenting disputes and care arrangement matters can feel deeply personal and emotionally challenging. During times of separation, parents are often navigating uncertainty while trying to make decisions that protect the wellbeing and stability of their children.

Guidance is provided across parenting agreements, child custody matters, day-to-day care arrangements, guardianship disputes, relocation issues, contact arrangements, and Family Court proceedings involving children.

The focus remains on helping parents move toward practical, child-focused outcomes while reducing unnecessary conflict wherever possible. Careful attention is given to creating arrangements that support stability, communication, and the long-term wellbeing of the children involved.

Every family dynamic is different, and these matters often require both legal clarity and emotional understanding. The approach remains calm, balanced, and tailored to the needs of each family while helping clients feel informed and supported throughout the process.Helping parents navigate child custody, parenting agreements, and care arrangements with care and balance.

  • Family Violence Act matters are often urgent, emotionally difficult, and highly sensitive. In these situations, it is important to have clear legal guidance and careful support from the outset.

Advice and representation are provided for individuals seeking protection and other related orders, responding to applications, and navigating related Family Court proceedings. This includes matters involving domestic violence, family harm allegations, parenting concerns, and urgent legal protections.

These situations can carry significant emotional and personal impact for everyone involved. My focus is on approaching each matter with care, discretion, and thoughtful legal guidance while helping clients clearly understand the legal process and their available options.

Where urgent action is required, support is provided promptly and carefully, with a focus on protecting safety, wellbeing, and fair legal outcomes, while offering sensitive and discreet guidance through urgent and emotionally challenging situations.

  • Family Court proceedings can feel stressful, unfamiliar, and emotionally exhausting. Having experienced and steady legal representation can help bring clarity and confidence during difficult periods of uncertainty.

Representation is provided across a wide range of Family Court matters throughout Auckland and across New Zealand, including parenting disputes, protection orders, guardianship issues, mediation, and complex family law proceedings.

My approach combines careful preparation, practical legal advice, and thoughtful advocacy tailored to the circumstances of each case. My clients are supported through every stage of the process with clear communication and a calm, grounded approach.

While many family law matters can be resolved outside of court, some situations require formal legal proceedings to protect the interests of the people involved. In those moments, my focus remains on providing measured, effective, and compassionate representation throughout the process.

  • If Oranga Tamariki is involved with your whānau, it can feel overwhelming. Not only do you need to deal with the Oranga Tamariki system, but you may also need to respond to Family Court applications (or make these applications yourself). I have significant experience with care and protection matters under the Oranga Tamarik Act 1989, and can ensure that you are supported and represented at each step, both with Oranga Tamariki and in the Family Court, placing you on the best legal footing to respond to the concerns.
